With yoga there is the reality of coordination and consolidation.
The concepts of coordination and consolidation are being applied ‘within the systems of the body’, ‘within the processes of the breath’, and within the functionings of the mind’. When we go deeper, we realize that ‘coordination and consolidation’ is happening not only ‘within’ but also ‘between’ the mind, the body and the breath.
In this workshop, we will focus on the importance of coordination and coordination while conducting asana, pranayama, and meditation.
We have been taught and realize that, “where we direct the consciousness, energy follows, and intelligence follows”. As we focus on the concepts and various parts of our selves, clarity occurs. We enhance the effects and efficiency of coordination and coordination as we maintain focus during repeated practice.
As Patanjali has stated, and as we have confirmed with our personal experience, “We practice with detachment; we apply effort, will power and perseverance to the practice. A result of this repeated and fervent practice, the practice becomes effortless, without will power and with a sense of well-being.
This workshop is a continuation of the workshop themes in this series of “The Splendor Within”. You are invited and encouraged to attend and participate as I continue to guide and educate you and your practice.

The aim of this session is to inspire you to do yoga at home.
Many students go to class regularly for a long time, but are unable to develop the discipline to practice on their own. In a home practice, you are able to tailor the sequence to your own needs at any particular time; in this way, the study of
yoga becomes more meaningful.
Janet will give insight into how to set up a home practice allowing you to taste the nectar of yoga.
Open to students who would like to begin doing yoga at
home or those who would like to refine an existing practice.

In Sanskrit language a sutra has these qualities:
alpaksharama, asandigdham, saravata, vishwatomukham, akshobhyama, anavadyama ca sutram sutraviduhu.
A sutra must be concise, without exuberant adjectives, without vagueness, and expressed in logical grammar without contradiction; it must have harmony of syntax without redundancy; it can have more than one meaning but there must be neither self contradiction nor contradiction with other sutras, and it must deal with the subject matter with minimum number of sutras. Above all it must be recognised as sutra by those who are known authorities.
This definition will be examined along with the meaning of some important sutras. Ramanand will help the students see how to apply this understanding to the asana practice as well as to yogic life.

The Self is composed of at least the “Trinity of the Self” – the Mind, Body, and Breath. The three coordinate, are interdependent, inter-facilitate, and are beneficiaries of each other. The sadhaka refines the practice, by moving from the gross to the subtle, to the even more subtle, continually stilling the fluctuations of consciousness (citta). Then the practitioner begins discovering the “Splendor Within”. This is the wonderful world of fluid and constant motion, interactions, and self-balancing energy flows. In this workshop, we will focus on the effects of practicing for the Body, for the Breath, and for the Mind while conducting asana, pranayama, and meditation.
We come to understand and utilize how to practice using these inter-working relationships of these aspects. This skill is important in refining our practice and gaining greater understanding, effects and insights. As a result, we discover and recognize the “Splendor Within”. We begin identifying and enumerating some of these manifested “Splendors”. We interact with and enumerate these Splendors as we continue to refine our practice.
The concepts of coordination and consolidation are being applied ‘within the systems of the body’, ‘within the processes of the breath’, and ‘within the functionings of the mind’. When we go deeper, we realize that ‘coordination and consolidation’ is happening not only ‘within’ but also ‘between’ the mind, the body, and the breath.
