The WomanÕs Book of Yoga and Health is the first comprehensive book about womenÕs health issues and how to treat them with yoga. The first part of the book describes the benefits of particular poses with clear instructions and pictures on how to get into them; included is an Essential Sequence for all women, with modifications for people who cannot or should not do all the poses, a Restorative Sequence for stress relief and relaxation, and an advanced sequence. The second part covers four stages of a womanÕs life. Each section offers specific information about particular health issues, as well as sequences of yoga poses that address the problem. The final section of the book includes listings of yoga centers and where to go for more information about yoga.
