Introductory Series
|
Allan Nett's Intro Classes are cancelled the weekend of July 5th.
Contact Allan to set up a make up session.
For students new to yoga or to the Iyengar method, the Institute offers many introductory level courses each quarter. These classes run for four consecutive weeks and introduce the basic poses, principles of movement and posture, yoga philosophy, relaxation, and breathing techniques. The needs of each individual are addressed. Although not required before entering public classes, many students find Introductory courses to be a useful way to begin the study of Iyengar Yoga.
Each four week course is $60.

F.A.Q. |
Bare feet and an empty stomach. Most students wear a T-shirt, shorts or footless tights. Baggy clothing is not recommended as the teacher needs to see the body's alignment. |
Please advise your teacher before class if you have any significant health problems, injuries, are pregnant, or are menstruating so that alternative poses may be suggested. |
Pre-registration is required so that the teacher's time is spent teaching.
